Item Open Access Enfermedades que afectan la agroexportación de banano orgánico (Musa paradisiaca) en el Valle Del Chira, 2021(Universidad Nacional de Frontera, 2022-04-18) Cortez Falla, Hugo Joakyn; Jabo Ancajima, Andy; Núñez Alejos, Luis AlbertoLa Región Piura es el mayor productor de banano orgánico (musa paradisiaca) para la agro exportación, en el Perú. La zona de producción se encuentra en el Valle Del Chira, en la provincia de Sullana. El propósito del presente trabajo fue identificar las principales enfermedades que afectan al producto de agro exportación en el Valle Del Chira durante el año 2021. El banano orgánico, debido a sus requisitos de calidad, no puede hacer uso de muchos agroquímicos, es susceptible al ataque de muchas enfermedades. Habiéndose identificado la presencia de Erwinia, Marchitez por Fusarium – FOC R4T y el Trips de la Mancha Roja. La Erwinia es una enfermada vascular que se manifiesta en el corno, pseudotallo y frutos. La marchitez por fusarium es causada por el hongo Fusarium oxysporium f. sp cubense (FOC), transmito por el suelo. Mientras que el Trips de la Mancha Roja es un insecto del orden de los Thysanoptera, su presencia en el cultivo genera el color rojizo en el pseudotallo y cascara del fruto. Cada enfermedad tiene mecanismos de contagio distinto, pero con síntomas similares, pudiéndose distinguir su accionar en el pseudotallo y las hojas.
